Now is a good time for photovoltaics
Make your own electricity for around €0.05/kWh
That cost stays fixed for the next 20 years. Your own solar plant can cover 20 to 80% of your consumption. On average, the investment pays for itself in 4 to 6 years, because you produce most of your energy yourself and use batteries to cover short demand peaks (peak shaving).
For SMEs
Subsidies of up to 45%
for photovoltaics
Green for Business (Zelená podnikom) gives small and medium-sized companies in Slovakia vouchers for photovoltaics, with or without storage, heat pumps and solar collectors. It covers 40% of eligible costs, or 45% if the energy audit shows at least 80% self-consumption, up to €50,000 per company. The energy audit is required before you apply. The first round closed in December 2025, and SIEA is preparing the next one.

Why work with us?
How a project runs
1.
Analysis and system design
We assess your energy needs and design the photovoltaic system: its size, panel layout and connection options.
2.
Financial planning and subsidies
We calculate the return on the investment, check which grants or financing apply and build them into the plan.
3.
Technical assessment and permits
We check the technical conditions for installation, such as the load-bearing capacity of the roof, and obtain the necessary permits, for example from the distribution operator and the building authority.
4.
System installation
We install the panels and the other components, such as inverters and batteries, connect the system to the grid and inspect it.
5.
Inspection and grid connection
We arrange the professional inspection and the formal connection of the system to the distribution grid. The system must meet all legal and technical requirements.
6.
Commissioning and monitoring
We commission the photovoltaic system, then monitor its performance and provide service.
7.
Maintenance and optimisation
Regular checks and maintenance keep the system at maximum efficiency and extend the life of the equipment.
Frequently asked questions
You can store excess energy in battery storage for later use, increasing your energy independence. Alternatively, you can sell the surplus back to the grid or use it to power other devices such as electric vehicle charging stations.
Yes. A PV system can work alongside your current energy sources, including the grid connection and backup generators. This makes your energy supply more flexible and reliable.
We can propose a solution with battery storage, or negotiate a capacity increase with the distribution operator.
Besides grants, the project can be financed through loans or leasing. We work with financial institutions and can help you obtain favourable terms.
We recommend adding the PV system to your existing property insurance. We can advise you on choosing suitable cover.
Although energy production is lower in winter due to shorter days and poorer weather, the system still contributes to cost savings. In addition, a properly designed system takes seasonal variations into account.
Installing a PV system typically increases the market value of a property by reducing operating costs and upgrading energy infrastructure.
