What’s that?
Green for Business is a forthcoming project aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the use of renewable energy sources (RES) and increasing energy efficiency. It will allow applicants to obtain financial contributions (vouchers) for the installation of equipment such as photovoltaic panels, heat pumps, solar collectors or wind turbines. The project is intended to operate with simplified administration, similar to the successful Green Home Initiative.
Who is it for?
- For all small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including sole traders.
- For energy communities and communities that want to become active energy producers.
- The call is open to any sector (except primary agriculture).
What will be the support?
- The basic rate of support will be 35% for the installation of the equipment and 45% for the energy audit.
- The maximum amount of the grant can reach up to EUR 70 000 per project.
- If the installation meets additional conditions (e.g. preferential use of the energy produced on site), an additional bonus can be obtained.
- Energy storage will also be an eligible expense.
How will it work?
- Energy audit – prepared by a professionally qualified person. The audit is a condition for applying for a voucher.
- Applying for the voucher – the applicant attaches an energy audit and basic documents (e.g. certificate of SME status).
- Installation of the equipment – after approval and conclusion of the contract, the applicant has 6 months to implement the project and apply for reimbursement of the voucher.

When will the call be launched?
The project is currently in the preparation phase. The official launch is expected in Q1 2025. Subsequent disbursement of subsidies is planned until 2029 with the possibility of increasing the financial package in case of high interest.
